ART
At the middle school level Art is offered as an Encore class. 7th graders may take a quarter of Art and 8th graders have the option of a semester of Art. Our instructors are Amy Scarpitta and Chablis Sanchez-Martin.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
Our Orchestra and Band classes are offered only to students who have had at least one year of prior instruction and classes are yearlong. Our instructors are Blake Duren (Band) and Dave Hershberger (Orchestra).
CHOIR
Our Antioch Choir is directed by James Sisson and is offered as a yearlong class for both 7th and 8th grades. There are several performances each year including public performances such as The Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting in Gladstone, Missouri.
THEATER
Our Theater classes for 7th and semester for 8th grades are led by Justen Willhite. The Antioch Middle School Spartan Theater performs twice or more each year. Students have performed in productions like The Groom Has Cold Feet (shown above), The Layover, All Shook Up, and Annie, Jr.
